Our Priority Senate Districts
The Cook Political Report, a respected political analysis website, currently identifies three Senate seats represented by Republicans that it considers “lean Republican” or “likely Republican.” At this stage of the election cycle, these are the three most flippable Senate seats in the country.
Activate America’s early focus will be to connect with voters in these districts about the many ways their Senators are failing to represent them.
They’ve all looked the other way as Trump tanks the economy and retirement security; they’ve all done essentially nothing to defend Congress’s role in authorizing federal programs as Trump illegally takes a chainsaw to the Social Security Administration, education programs, critical lifesaving research, our national parks, and so much more; they all voted for Trump’s most incompetent and unqualified Cabinet members.
Their constituents deserve real representation, and the 2026 election is their chance at leaders who will put people first.

Maine
-
Of all Republicans in the Senate, Senator Susan Collins might be the most disappointing. She knows how damaging the MAGA movement is to our country, and her press shop is always busy putting out statements about how concerned she is. Yet time and time again, she lacks the backbone to do anything about it.
Maine is a purple state that leans blue, and it deserves a Senator who doesn’t just recognize problems but actually works to solve them. That Senator is not Susan Collins.
North Carolina
-
Senator Thom Tillis likes to think of himself as a profile in courage, but all we see is cowardice. He claimed to be outraged by Donald Trump’s pardon of the January 6th insurrectionists, yet voted to confirm one of their top apologists to lead the FBI. He claimed to be outraged by Trump’s abandonment of Ukraine, yet he voted for a Director of National Intelligence who regularly echoes Kremlin talking points.
Tillis tries to convince us that he has an independence streak, but his voting record is virtually indistinguishable from the most feverish MAGA supporters in the Senate. North Carolina deserves better.
Ohio
-
The former Lieutenant Governor of Ohio, Senator Jon Husted was appointed to fill the term of now Vice President JD Vance, and he’s fulfilling his expected role of being a rubber stamp for the Trump Administration. He voted for every Trump cabinet nominee; he’s said nothing as the Administration attacks school breakfast and lunch programs, food banks, support for family farms, Medicaid, Social Security, and the VA, and he’s dodged constituents who have demanded that he hold town hall meetings to hear their concerns.
Luckily, he’s on the ballot in 2026, and we’ll have our chance to make sure that he’s never elected to the U.S. Senate.
